Eleni Karpeta was born in 1937 in Chiliadou Fthiotida and studied at the National Theater Drama School. In 1971, together with Thanassis Papageorgiou, he founded the Stoa Theater in Zografou, uploading dozens of works until 1974, when he left.
He later worked closely with the State Theater of Northern Greece (KTHVE), where he was distinguished as both an actor and a director, and from 1974 to 1986 he taught acting, influenced generations of young artists.
In recent years he had retired from the spotlight and lived permanently in Thessaloniki. Her death leaves behind an important gap, but also a valuable legacy for Greek theater.
