Sylvester Stallone gets annoyed by the choice of Noah Centineo to live Rambo in the cinema

by

Sylvester Stallone, 79. He would not have approved the lineup of Noah Centineo, 29, to play one of his most iconic characters: John Rambo, the Vietnam War veteran lived in five films, between 1982 and 2019.

According to the US Radar website, which specializes in Hollywood celebrity coverage, the actor has so far not publicly spoken out about the decision of Finnish director Jalmari Helander’s team, but made it clear to friends that he was disappointed. Stallone already had a favorite to take the role: Ryan Gosling.

Also according to the report, Stallone considers that the choice of cast goes beyond the popularity of the moment: it is about finding someone capable of supporting the character’s emotional burden. He wanted a heavy Hollywood and Gosling name would be the ideal actor.

In an interview with The Tonight Show in late 2024, Stallone himself had said that the barbie star has been in love with Rambo since childhood. “Ryan told me, ‘I was fascinated by Rambo and went to school dressed like him. They even kicked me, but I didn’t stop.’ I thought, ‘If I ever passed the bat, it will be to him, because he loves the character,'” he said at the time.

Noah Centineo, known as young audience productions such as “Austin & Ally”, “The Fosters” and the “for all the boys I’ve ever loved”, will give life to a rammine in combat in Vietnam during the 1960s and 1970s. He was also quoted to play “He-Man”, but was eventually replaced by Nicholas Galitzine.
