Cauã Reymond, 45, is in the midst of “Vale Tudo” recordings, a remake of the Globo classic that aired this year. In the role of César Ribeiro, an ambitious model that combines himself with Maria de Fátima (Bella Campos), the actor has lived an intense work routine – but he has decided that as soon as the soap opera ends, he will take time from television plots.
The announcement was made on Tatá Werneck’s Lady Night program. According to Cauã, the decision has to do with the need to breathe his own career and not to saturate the public. “After such a strong character, it’s important to rest the image,” the actor explained.
In history written by Manuela Dias, Caesar is one of the central axes of the twists, always moved by the search for status and wealth. Next to the scene partner, Maria de Fátima, he plots to seduce Afonso Roitman (Humberto Carrão) to ensure a luxury life.
During the interview, Cauã also reflected on how he deals with fame and the way he is seen by the public. Although he is one of the most recognized heartthrobes on television, he said he doesn’t always see himself like this. “I don’t find myself that cat. Since young, when I became a model, I realized that people put me in this place. But I started to find myself more beautiful from 35. Today, I really like how I am,” he said.
The actor also said that maturity brought a quieter relationship with his own image. “Actually, I enjoy myself more today than I enjoyed when I was 30,” he said.
