The Aegina 2025 Music Festival is evolving with great success, giving the public magical nights under the starry sky of the island. The unique concerts in the historic venues of Aegina have created an atmosphere of emotion and celebration, confirming for another year the special character of the institution.

As the organizers inform, the festival, which is celebrating 20 years this year, culminates in three separate music nights:

  • Thursday 21 August – Kapodistrian Orphanage, Church of Savior, 21:00

Fortuna Trio & Lily Maisky

The rising Fortuna Trio, with the freshness and dynamics of young musicians, offers us a rich chamber music evening dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Dmitry Shostakovic’s death. Guest Star, the internationally acclaimed pianist and beloved guest of the Festival, Lily Maisky. Marina Eliadou (violin), Matteo Sestani (cello), Apostolia Anastasiou (piano) participate.

  • Friday August 22nd – Pachia Rachi, Small Theater of Jason Molfessi, 21:00

Fresco Quartet & Lucia Loukaki

Starting with Vienna, Fresco Quartet and the distinguished cellist Lucia Loulakis present at the magnificent Molfessi Theater, with the backdrop of sunset, a chamber music works with the legendary Quintte of Franz Schubert with two.

  • Sunday 24, August – Avra ​​Beach, in the shadow of Cologne, 21:00

Manolis Mitsias & Theodora Baka

The festival closes with a great concert that promises fun, emotion and nostalgia, through songs we have all loved. A tribute to the great Greek musicians, with special mention in the songs of Mikis Theodorakis, with the distinctive performances of Manolis Mitsias and Theodora Baka. On the piano is Achilles Wuastor and in the bouzouki Hercules Zakkas.

Entrance to the festival is free for unemployed, people with disabilities and students, and before each concert, brief explanations help the public approach the repertoire with more understanding and enjoyment. All events begin at 9pm.
