The International Documentary Documentary Film Festival will take place in BurgasIn the Black Sea, from September 17th to September 22nd, the organizers mentioned through their accounts on social media websites.

The festival’s competition program includes ten films. Accompanying screenings will be organized for the parallel program. Participants will be evaluated by an international jury. The winner will win a big 2,000 leva prize. The public can watch all views free of charge.

The organizers have reported that DOCK’s mission is to become one of the most valuable cultural events in Bulgariacontributing to exploring world history in an original way.

Producers, directors and screenwriters from around the world are invited to the festival. The chairman of the jury will be the Greek director Maria Douzawhich has directed, among other things, the films “The Tree and the Swing” and “Listen to Me”. He has won many international awards and has worked in dozens of documentary and feature film productions.

Another member of the jury, the Bulgarian director, animator and illustrator Vladimir Todorov, has worked in successful productions such as “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, “The Pontikomikroulis”, “The Polar Express”, “Beogulf”, “The Christmas”, “The Christmas”. He is also a director of the award -winning short film “Flutter and Dreamer” and author of the books “The Moonstone”, “The Anger of Oliver”, “Archipelagos NY” and “a Bulgarian in Hollywood”.
