I will surprise, but they will still laugh at me, says Nicole Bahls about the dance of the famous

One day to forget. This is how model and host Nicole Bahls, 39, refers to her first performance in the Dance of the Famous, Domingão’s painting with Huck (Globo).

Who saw, realized: she seemed dispersed and did not follow the movements of the other colleagues with whom he shared the stage. Result: received criticism, became a meme, had a trembling in the air and, following, a crying crisis in the dressing room.

“I cried a lot with the mistakes, I felt guilty about harming the whole group. I always enjoyed helping and doing good, and at that moment I realized that I had done evil. But everyone on the team came to me and accepted, they understood,” says the model, who claims to have never danced in life. “Only at Carnival, right, friend,” he reinforces.

Nicole took three years to accept the invitation to competition precisely because she was aware of her lack of skill. She says that, officially, she claimed a lack of space on the agenda to decline for the first time in 2023. In fact, she felt insecure.

This year stumbled upon the challenge and, in the second performance, which aired on last Sunday’s program (17), showed evolution and was praised by the jurors. “Bring Nicole back,” shouted Milton Cunha, in reference to the difference between Nicole from the first exhibition and the much higher performance.

Evolve is not being easy. “The routine is rehearsals four times a week and eight hours a day of dance,” she says, who was surprised by her own performance. “Just have willpower and the support of teachers to feel more comfortable. I’m learning and memorizing more, but I have a delay that is difficult,” he jokes.

The model says she feels more confident when dancing samba, country and country. Tango permeates its latest nightmares. “I don’t even want to see,” he jokes. “I will strive and surprise, try to inspire other people, but they will still laugh at me.”
