In a joint post on Instagram, the couple wrote: “The teacher of your English and your gymnast are getting married”, accompanying the message with photos showing Kelsi to make a wedding proposal to Swift.

The couple posted five photos depicting it in a flower scene, with Kelsi kneeling. The Swift also included a nearby shot.

A few minutes after the announcement of their engagement, fans looking for the names of Taylor Swift or Travis Celsius saw colorful confetti fall on the screen.

The famous couple have been together since July 2023. Their relationship began while Swift was on the Eras Tour tour. In a stop in the city of Kansas, Kelsi tried to give her his number written on a “friendship bracelet”, an accessory that had become a hallmark of the tour. When the effort failed, he spoke openly about his attraction to the star in his podcast, New Heights.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her concerts, because she had to protect her voice for the 44 songs she interprets,” Kelsi had then said.

Swift contacted him after he spoke openly and the two began to come out discreetly, until they first appeared for the first time when the singer watched the Chiefs match against the Bears on September 24, 2023. That season he found himself in 13 games, with a total of 13 games.

Celsius, for his part, supported Swift as her fan of her fan, watching her marathon, three -hour and more concert 14 times around the world – from Argentina, Australia and Singapore, to France, England, Ireland, the Netherlands.
