Presenter Patricia Poeta, 45, had to leave the command of É de Casa (Globo) this Saturday morning (2) because of pain that arose after she discovered kidney stones.
In the attraction, it was Ana Furtado who explained the situation better. “Unfortunately, people, she has a kidney stone, she was surprised. She is taking care of herself and is doing well”, explained Ana.
Talitha Morete, who presented along with her, even advised viewers to drink plenty of water to avoid disorders like this.
But this was not the first time that Patricia had to be left out of the schedule due to health problems. In September of last year, she revealed through her social networks that she had to undergo emergency surgery “and very complicated on the tonsils”.
“I’m still not 100%. A little far from it, I confess, but I’ll be fine,” she wrote when posting a photo at the hospital. She did not elaborate on what prompted the need for the surgical procedure.
Poeta said that she had been hospitalized since last week and thanked the public’s concern who sent messages. “I slept a lot in the last few days due to the general anesthesia and the medication I have been taking. That’s why I couldn’t respond,” she said.
Days later, upon being discharged, in a long outburst on social media, she commented that she would continue her recovery at home. “Now, I confess that there is no way to go through such a nightmare, after several days in the hospital, and not reflect on everything I experienced during this period,” she said.
The presenter of É de Casa (Globo) defined the situation as a nightmare. “Face? It was disfigured,” she said. “From there down, it was life-threatening for sure. That’s why the surgery had to be urgent, on the same day of admission.”
