The legendary British actor Michael Caine is officially returning from retirement as he, according to Deadline, is going to star alongside a friend, Vin Diesel.

Kane, who won two Oscars during his impressive career for “Hannah and Her Sisters” and “The Cider House Rules” made his supposed last appearance in 2023’s The Great Escaper.

Now, he returns to the film plate for the sequel to 2015’s The Last Witch Hunter – where he caught with Vin Diesel.

Kane is reportedly in talks to repeat his role as Doln’s father.

Kane has praised Diesel several times in recent years. In his memoirs, “Don’t Look Back, You’ll Trip Over”, Michael Caine wrote: “Vin is special. I love Vin. We first met at a dinner about 30 years ago. I just greeted him instinctively with a hug and announced to everyone: “This is my son!”

“Sometimes, you feel a connection. I immediately liked the guy. He has a big heart, ”he added.

The filming of the film in which Diesel will work as a producer and as a protagonist have not begun.
