Summer and detached from substances and drugs has been the famous actor Charlie Sheen, who recently celebrated his 60th birthday.
The star with the hectic personal life and countless conquests, starring for years in the famous Two and a Half Men television series, wrote a new autobiography, “The Book of Sheen”, full of shocking moments from his life, which is to be released soon.
At the same time, the documentary entitled “Known as Charlie Sheen” premieres on Wednesday on Netflix and the audience is looking forward to it.
“I was born dead,” Sin writes in his book, referring to the fact that he was born “strangled” by the umbilical cord while the doctors managed to bring him back to life.
At the age of 15, he lost his virginity to a Las Vegas prostitute, which he paid with a credit card belonging to his father, actor Martin Sin.
Much of the book and the documentary present the stars of the star. The actor’s sexual adventures are presented as a “tornado” of trio, prostitutes, nights in the Playboy villa and adventures with men under the influence of alcohol – for which he says in the film: “I changed my mind”.
At the same time, they have been referring to his drugs for decades – “enough to kill an elephant,” as Pagesix typically says.
Indeed, use led him to an almost deadly overdose of cocaine in 1998 and seven “visits” to a detox center.
Not to mention the diagnosis of HIV in 2011 – then went to Mexico and remained “immobilized” for the next two years.
The only drug that never tried
“I was always a very good friend with my dealer,” Sin himself said in his book, who had become addicted – among other things – in hemp, cocaine and crack. As he writes, he had “close” them to make him a better honor while “he was making many miserable films to finance his habits.”
The only drug that the star does not mention in his book is the ketaminefrom which his friend, Matthew Perry, “Chandler” from the “buddies”, lost his life in an overdose in October 2023.
“I never did it,” Sean told Page Six. “I knew some people who did it but I just knew it wasn’t for me.”
It is a miracle that Sin did not follow in his friend’s footsteps – the actor himself revealed that he had once attended a “support team” of the premature lost Perry.
“I started drinking because I was shooting in shooting”
Shortly before the release of his book and the screening of the documentary, Charlie Sin gave an interview to actor and writer David Dukovni, describing his struggle to get rid of alcohol as well.
According to the Daily Mail, the actor revealed that at the beginning of his career he suffered from stuttering, which was a serious problem at work.
When he realized that alcohol was helping him not to stutter, he started drinking and stopped only 8 years ago.
Alcohol was “the hardest drug for me”, as he felt it was necessary to maintain his career, as he said.
“The only part of the alcohol consumption I could manage was the first hour,” said Charlie Sin.
His chronic dependencies and the inexorable life of Sin have alienated him by his family.
But when he “finally left the bottle”, his children began to come to his home.
