Digital influencer Bruna Gomes, 26, was asked to date by pilot Bernardo Sousa during the broadcast of Big Brother de Portugal, on Sunday night (3). The ex-girlfriend of youtuber Felipe Neto, 34, was called to the confessional and said that she was waiting for the request.
Cristina Ferreira, presenter of Big Brother Famosos – as the program is called, decided to summon Bernardo Sousa to the confessional and told what Gomes had said. So, the Portuguese heartthrob asked the influencer: “Do you want to date me?”.
“I want”, she replied, thus making the union official. The two shared their first kiss during a reality show dynamic on March 16. Previously, Gomes lived a five-year relationship with the Brazilian youtuber, who wished the influencer good luck when she entered the reality.
“She is not ‘so-and-so’s ex’. She is Bruna Gomes. A hardworking, dedicated woman who built her own story full of light. I had the honor of spending almost 5 years by her side and I know that the Portuguese people will love know your character and courage in this Big Brother. Good luck, Bru!”, tweeted Neto, at the time.
The couple announced the end of their relationship in December. According to Bruna, the youtuber would have called her at Christmas and ended the relationship. At the time, Bruna said she was very surprised by the news. “Without having a frank, mature and honest conversation, as it should be between those who lived under the same roof, sharing dreams and anguish; joys and sadness; storms and calms.”
The influencer also stated that it was not up to her to judge anyone, much less the reasons. “In the end it will always be us with our consciences and mirrors. It’s impossible to lie to them. They will always be the most implacable judges. Everyone has their own.”
