Lawyer Diogo Mussi, brother of former BBB Rodrigo Mussi, 36, said on his social media this Tuesday (5th) that he almost fell for a fake doctor who pretended to be responsible for his brother’s care. Rodrigo has been hospitalized at Hospital das Clínicas since last Thursday (31), after suffering a car accident in São Paulo.
“They tried to impersonate a doctor from the HC [Hospital das Clínicas] now. He asked me for R$ 7,000 so that my brother would have medicines that are not available at the HC. The worst thing is to impersonate an HC doctor, giving information about the severity of Rod’s health condition. My heart almost stopped. I’ve already passed everything on to the police,” Diogo said.
The lawyer has been concentrating official information on his brother’s health since the accident, which occurred when he was in the back seat of a car by application. Only Rodrigo was injured, suffering head trauma and other fractures throughout his body. He underwent two surgeries and remains in serious condition.
The Civil Police said on Monday (4) that it opened an investigation to investigate the accident, and the driver, who gave testimony this Tuesday, could answer for culpable bodily injury while driving a motor vehicle. In an interview with Bom Dia SP (Globo), on the day of the accident, the driver even said that he had fallen asleep at the wheel.
The last medical report released by the family indicated that Rodrigo was very agitated and moving a lot as the medical team reduced the sedation. “Every minute is a victory. He even squeezed my finger. I can see him walking out of the HC, because he has an absurd strength”, published Diogo.
