The famous actor Stellan Skarsgård revealed that he suffered a stroke three years ago and has been struggling on set ever since. In an interview with Vulture promoting Oscar frontrunner Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value, the Swedish star explained that this was done in between shooting the two parts of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune movies and episodes of the hit Star series. Wars, “Andor.”

“It was perfect timing”the actor commented, and went on to say that due to the stroke, his speech became “weaker” resulting in him needing a hearing aid while filming “Dune: Part Two.”

“Suddenly, I couldn’t remember names”Skarsgård said, adding: “I cannot follow a line of thought or formulate an argument that extends over several sentences and reaches my meaning […] This is extremely disappointing. But on the other hand, I am alive. I can work.”

He mentioned that “he is not afraid of death, but he is afraid that he will not be able to live.” “I feel a little more like I’m living under the threat of a sword now. Because I’ve lived a naughty life. And I’m 74 years old, which I’m already on time credit”he emphasized while being “boring” is a concern, both for himself and his children.

It is noted that the actor has eight children – including Alexander, Bill and Gustaf – who have followed his path in acting, with him pointing out that their success is not due to him.

“I find myself benefiting because I get so much goodwill and maybe business because of them,” he emphasized.

In late August, both he and Alexander had film screenings at the Telluride Film Festival, and as he revealed at a screening of “Sentimental Value,” his oldest son “came out, devastated, and hugged me.”
