Presenter Márcio Garcia, 51, got a scare while training. He injured his hand and when he arrived at the hospital he found he would need emergency surgery to repair the damage.
In direct video from the hospital, after the procedure, he told more details of what happened. “Nothing serious. It was just a tendon rupture in my hand that I had during training. The surgery was a success. I just decided to record this video before it came out that I was hospitalized in serious condition”, he said.
Moments later, he made another recording being released from the hospital and thanking everyone for their support. “I said I was going to leave today. Here I go. I’m going home, thank God. Little arm protected. New life”, he amended.
He also says that The Voice Kids will soon be back in full force. The role of presenter of the attraction he started in 2021. In a recent interview with F5Garcia said that he formulates a new auditorium program, with hints of Innocent People and Family Size (2016-2019) — the latter that was “frozen” during the pandemic.
The presenter says he misses an attraction on open TV that addresses family themes without “prejudice”. “And without having to be a traditional family like mine, but for all families to feel embraced and convey that sense of freedom in which any subject can be approached, obviously within common sense.”
The dynamics of Size Família could, according to him, become a framework within the new program, as well as activities that existed in Gente Inocente, an attraction aimed at children that he led between 1999 and 2002 at Globo.
