Actress Nathalia Dill, 36, approved this year’s off-season Carnival, held in April after postponements due to the pandemic. “I’m loving Carnival this time of year,” she said at the entrance to Camarote Folia Tropical, at Marquês da Sapucaí, in Rio de Janeiro.
“I’m finding a great temperature, milder, it doesn’t rain so much”, he enumerated. “It’s not that hot, I vote to stay at that time forever (laughs). Or at least do two Carnivals.”
Despite loving Carnival, she still hasn’t crossed Marquês de Sapucaí dancing samba at a school. “I’ve never paraded, but nowadays I’m up for everything”, she says.
However, she has no desire to be a muse or drum queen. “I really want to go out playing”, she reveals. “I’ve been in some blocks playing. But in a samba school you have to be more dedicated.”
For that, however, she would need to have more time available. She is currently preparing to debut a play and a series, which she says she cannot yet give details of. “We’re coming back, everything coming back now,” she celebrates.
The actress also heaves a sigh when asked about this year’s elections. “I hope the world gets better after this election,” she comments.
“I really hope that people vote right, vote for Lula and get rid of this… this person”, he says. “I think we have to value love, joy, culture, our economy… It’s all connected.”
For her, the last few years have been complicated for Brazilians in general. “Not only culture [que sofreu]but education, science, economics… everything”.
