At the beginning of the year, it was announced that Dani Calabresa would be Portugal’s substitute at CAT BBB, a successful picture of the last two editions of Globo’s reality show. At the time, the comedian went public to give his version of events.
According to him, the problem was not money or some kind of demand he made to the network. “It was Globo’s decision not to continue because of the contract itself, it has nothing to do with value. Unlike other years, the broadcaster asked me for exclusivity, which I could not accept because I have other projects such as Porta dos Fundos and A Culpa. belongs to Cabral”, he said in a video.
During the two years in which he commanded the board, Portugal says that he always did it on Mondays, but that now Globo wanted to increase the number of days. “Globo asked me for this contract to be different, which is normal, because it is paying the artist and wants him in other projects”, he amended.
