The Federal Revenue opens this Monday (25) the consultation of the April batch of the fine mesh of the Income Tax. Refunds will be paid next Friday (29) to 210,000 taxpayers. The total amount of R$ 180.5 million will be deposited directly into the bank accounts informed when submitting the rectifying statement. The batch has declarations sent last year and also from previous years. To leave the fine mesh, it is necessary to correct pending issues identified by the Revenue, such as omission of income.
To find out if you will receive the money in this lot, the citizen must access the Revenue website, click on “My Income Tax” and then on “Consult the Refund”. On this page, you will need to inform CPF and date of birth and fill in a confirmation captcha.
For those who have a refund receivable, but have not yet entered any batch of payments, it is necessary to consult the processing statement, to check if there are pending issues to be corrected, through the e-CAC portal. The taxpayer can also access the IRS application for mobile devices.
Among the amounts released, 40% are intended for taxpayers with legal priorities, such as the elderly, people with physical or mental disabilities or serious illness and taxpayers whose main source of income is teaching.
Payment of the refund is made by deposit in the bank account informed in the income tax declaration. If the credit cannot be made for any reason, the amounts will be available for redemption at Banco do Brasil for up to one year.
Requests for amounts at Banco do Brasil can be made through the website or through the BB Relationship Center through the telephone numbers 4004-0001 (capital cities), 0800-729-0001 (other locations) and 0800-729-0088 (special telephone exclusively for hearing impaired).
The taxpayer who has not redeemed the amounts at Banco do Brasil, after a period of one year, must request it through the e-CAC Portal, accessing the menu “Declarations and Statements”, “My Income Tax” and clicking on “Request refund not redeemed in the banking network”.
