BBB 22: Paulo André wants to elevate athletics, but does not rule out being a singer or model

by

Vice-champion of Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo), Paulo André, 23, says he still doesn’t know what he will do with the more than R$ 250,000 he won in awards on the reality show. However, he has the will to elevate the name of the sport that took him to stardom: athletics.

“I joined to give more visibility to the sport, we fight for athletics to be recognized. Athletics continues to be the thing I love the most”, he says in an interview with the press on the morning of this Wednesday (27).

Precisely for this reason, PA wants to leverage an institution project that he says he already has on paper to help children and people in general to become great victors in the racing world.

But even that doesn’t take away from him the possibility of embarking on other paths. Within the BBB, PA showed quality in singing and stood out for his beauty, as he was always highly praised by fans and artists like Anitta.

“I cannot forget that it was athletics that took me to the place I am today, but I already knew that this clash could happen with other careers as a singer or model. I have this desire to sing too, but first I want to fulfill dreams as an athlete. But I say that it wouldn’t be smart to close doors”, he highlights.

From now on, Paulo André will have the opportunity to review everything that happened and even talk to Jade Picon, with whom he had an in-game romance. Not knowing if she’s going to want something serious, PA is wary of talking about her friend.

“I didn’t know that my thing with her had such an impact out here. But I was stoked, Jade is very cool. I want to organize things in my head and then think about the future. We didn’t agree on anything about dating, so I can’t say”, closes.

With 68.96% of the votes, Arthur Aguiar won the BBB and took the prize of R$ 1.5 million. In an unprecedented final, with only men and members of the Camarote group, he defeated Paulo André and Douglas Silva, who received 29.91% and 1.13% of the votes, respectively.

The contest between the three, however, was the biggest in the show’s history in terms of number of votes in a final, with 751,366,679 votes. The number surpassed that of the BBB 21 final, which ranked first with 633,284,707 votes.

This Tuesday’s vote (26) was also the second largest in the history of reality. It only loses to the Paredão between Manu Gavassi, Felipe Prior and Mari Gonzalez in the BBB 20, which reached the mark of 1.5 billion votes and entered the Guinness World Records.
