A German shepherd named Gunther VI sells a Miami mansion that once belonged to Madonna.
The seaside property went on sale on Wednesday with its owner asking for $ 31.75 million, well more than the $ 7.5 million given in 2000 by the trust that manages Gunther’s property to acquire it.
The roots of this dog’s fortune go back to his ancestor, Gunther III, according to what the trust managers told the Associated Press. Gunther III had inherited millions of dollars from his owner, Carlota Liebenstein, a German countess who died in 1992.
Since then, the managers of this property have been taking care of the dog’s offspring.
Today, the fortune of the 6th Gunter amounts to $ 500 million.
The Miami mansion alone has nine bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms and a swimming pool overlooking the sea.
“She lives in Madonna’s old bedroom,” the real estate agent who sold the property told the AP.
But the dog’s main residence is in Tuscany. Gunther travels in private jets, attends meetings with realtors and eats meals cooked by a chef.
