The singer Claudia Leitte, 41, did not hide the happiness of the reunion with her audience with the resumption of her concert schedule, at the end of last year, after two years of the pandemic. She said during an event to launch a Braé product, in São Paulo, this Tuesday (4), that she really missed contact with people.
Claudia said that during the pandemic there was no live or zoom meeting to replace the exchange of face-to-face experience with people. “I like people, I enjoy seeing people. I didn’t come here [no evento] to do my work, I came here because God arranged a meeting between me and these people. I’ve always believed that.”
She revealed that it was sensational to “put her face on the street” again to do shows, but admitted that she was a little thoughtful if the shows would actually happen after so many setbacks and setbacks due to the pandemic. “I had a delight, I went to do a show in Santa Inês, in Maranhão, which was such an impressive, spectacular thing, because it was people again, that’s not how you’re going to do a show”, she says excitedly.
Despite the happiness with the return of the shows, Claudia admitted that she still has not overcome the cancellation of this year’s Carnival in Salvador due to the coronavirus. She said that she is dying to sing in the electric trio. “I’m missing my Carnival, I’m missing it a lot. If you want to know the truth, I miss you so much. I can’t take it anymore.
About not having performed in any of the boxes at Carnival out of season in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, the singer explained that she had been hired before the pandemic to perform at Disney parks in the United States. “Thank God we were able to do the shows.”
Optimistic, the singer says that she has seen many good things happening in this post-pandemic and believes that everything will get better. “I can say that there are a lot of good things to come, we have to have a lot of faith because already, already, there will be a lot of reason to celebrate God willing, just persevere.”
