BBB 22: Tadeu thanks family for isolation to help him

Journalist Tadeu Schmidt, 47, presenter of BBB 22, took advantage of his participation in Domingão with Huck (Globo), this Sunday (8), to thank the family for the voluntary isolation done inside the house during the period when the reality was on the air.

He said that he could not take the risk of catching Covid-19 and, therefore, had to build a “glass house” in the house where he lives with his wife, Ana Cristina, and their two daughters.

“It was very intense for me, but these three made sacrifices”, he said, moved. “Imagine if I’m starting to present the BBB and I can’t because I got sick? I couldn’t take the slightest risk”.

According to the presenter, the daughters were on one side of the house and he and Ana Cristina on the other, using only the couple’s bedroom. Tadeu said that the woman made the biggest sacrifice of all, as she had no direct contact with anyone, not even her daughters, so as not to catch Covid.

“She gave up everything to just be with me this whole time. This huge sacrifice I’ll be grateful for the rest of my life, it was too beautiful,” he said. Ana Cristina replied that she would do it all over again.

On Sunday with Huck, the BBB presenter watched tributes from friends and family, cried a lot and participated in the painting Visiting the Past. The program’s production recreated the room of a friend of Tadeu’s in Brasília, where the journalist lived. This is where he played and slept in bunk beds.

“I didn’t like sleeping alone,” he revealed. His brothers, former basketball player Oscar and naval officer Luís Felipe, were older and no longer lived in the family home. Therefore, the future journalist liked to be close to his friends.

Two friends, the mother of one of them, Tadeu’s mother, his wife and two daughters participated in the visit to the past and praised the presenter.

The journalist took over the BBB 22 after Tiago Leifert left the command of the program. Tadeu was replaced by Maju Coutinho in charge of Fantastic.
