Arthur Aguiar, winner of Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo), surprised fans by announcing on Monday night (9) a break from social media for a few days. The decision comes after Maíra Cardi, the actor’s wife, walked away from social media after suffering threats.
Aguiar thanked the fans for everything they did for him during the reality show and said that on his return he has news to tell. “I will be away from here for a few days so that I can be 100% with my family and make the most of my time with them. This will be essential for me to be able to come back with everything and deliver my best to you.”
The actor thanked his wife noting that she defended him while he was confined in the most guarded house in Brazil. According to him, Maíra dropped everything she was doing to take care of his things. “This BBB 22 champion title is ours! I make a point of sharing it with you.”
Aguiar stated that he hears a lot from people that his wife was surreal outside the BBB home. “Whenever I hear this I agree and I am grateful for the privilege of being able to live with you every day and have you as my wife.”
He also said that without his fans, called points of light and buns, he would not have won the reality show. “My light points, my bakery, already, already, I’m back, I hope you’re still here waiting for me. I love you! Without you, nothing would be possible!”
