A biographical series entitled “Jack Magic”, concerning him billionaire Chinese businessman and self-made owner of the mighty Alibaba, Jack Mais in progress by French production company Oble, according to an exclusive publication by Variety. The series is based on Duncan Clark’s book “Alibaba: The House That Jack Ma Built”.
Details of the series have not been revealed, however, the production company said it will work closely with the author for the best result.
The book “The House That Jack Ma Built”published in 2016, records Ma’s epic rise from a modest English teacher to the powerful owner of the world’s largest e-shopping site, when he acquired his first computer at the age of 33 and founded the company from his apartment.
From the 2000s until today, he has been described as the “king of e-shops” with distinctive and remarkable distinctions. In May 2009, Time magazine named him “one of the 100 most powerful personalities”BusinessWeek named him one of China’s Most Powerful People, and Forbes named him “one of the 10 Most Respected Entrepreneurs in China.”
