The digital influencer Camila Loures, 27, used her Instagram profile on Thursday night (19) to talk about the controversy involving a driver of the Uber app. Earlier this week, she claimed to have been kicked out of a car after asking the driver to roll up the windows, as it was cold in São Paulo.

“Guys are already creating other things and I came to clarify. Firstly, the driver was not removed from the application. When my team and I looked for Uber, we made it very clear that this was not the intention”, she began in her Stories.

“It was an annoying situation that I had never experienced before. I was not arrogant. I still joked: ‘it’s snowing in São Paulo. I can’t close the window, because it’s windy in my face’. He said: ‘Covid protocols. I’m going to stop the car and you take another one’. Then I said: ‘boy, you don’t need to. You can go on, then’. Then he stopped the car and said: ‘get out of my car'”, she recalled about the incident.

“I wasn’t arrogant at all. Anyway, I shouldn’t have exposed him. I’m sorry, driver. I’m sorry to everyone who was offended by this. didn’t even have 10 minutes of Stories. It was just a rant.”

Loures ended the records saying he learned a lot from the situation and apologized again. The subject took great proportions on social networks and the name of the content creator came to be among the most commented topics on Twitter this Thursday.

wanted by F5 On Tuesday (18), the day of the incident, Uber said that it advises all its partners and users to follow the rules and local authorities with regard to the pandemic and that each must respect the individual preferences of the other.

The company does not mention if there was any understanding with Loures or if it spoke with the driver in question, only that it hopes that partner drivers and users do not get involved in fights and arguments.
