Singer Ed Sheeran, 31, revealed on his Instagram that he, alongside his wife, Cherry Seaborn, 31, welcomed another baby girl. The couple, who are already the father of 1-year-old Lyra Antarctica, said they now have another daughter in the family.
“I want everyone to know that we had another beautiful girl,” he wrote in the caption of a photo of a pair of white socks and a brown blanket. “We are both so in love with her and we are so happy to be a family of four.”
In the comments of the publication, fans and netizens were shocked by the news, as the couple did not announce the pregnancy at any time. “Guys, out of nowhere a son”, wrote one. “Oh my god! Congratulations,” said another. “What?” commented yet a third.
Lyra Antarcitica was born in September 2020, and at the time, the musician also captioned a photo of baby socks, but they were navy and gray. “A quick message from me, as I have some personal news that I would like to share with you…”, the message began.
“Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter – Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. We are completely in love with her. Both mom and baby are doing great and we are on cloud nine. over here,” he wrote.
Sheeran and Seaborn started dating in 2015, and got married in January 2019. The singer’s biggest hits like “Perfect” and “Shape of You” were dedicated to his wife.
