The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease (individuals) recorded in the last 24 hours were 25,566. The total number of people who got sick is 3,755,074 (daily change +0.7%), of which 48.5% are men.
The number of possible new reinfections recorded in the last 24 hours was 5,022, while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 187,202 (4.7% of the total number of positive results).
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 19, while a total of 30,349 deaths have been recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.7% had underlying diseases and/or age 70 years or older.
The number of intubated patients is 98 (61.2% male). Their median age is 71 years. 90.8% have underlying diseases and/or age 70 years or older. Among intubated patients, 37 (37.76%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 61 (62.24%) are fully vaccinated.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,738 patients have been discharged from ICUs. Admissions of new COVID-19 patients to the territory’s hospitals are 309 (+20.23% daily change).
The average seven-day admissions is 292 patients. The median age of the cases is 37 years (range 0.2 to 112 years), while the median age of the deceased is 80 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
