Re-infections account for 18% of infections.
The weekly report of cases was issued by the EODY for the period 11-18 July, noting that there were 148,435 cases of COVID-19 (13,723 per million population: -1% weekly change) of which reinfections account for 18% of infections.
The total number of infections since the beginning of the pandemic amounts to 4,210,771 of which 51.7% are women.

The data presented concern cases from the epidemiological surveillance of the disease from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The data is for the ISO reference week 28/2022 (July 11, 2022 – July 17, 2022).
In the reporting week, 148,435 cases of COVID-19 were recorded (13,723 per million population: -1% weekly change) of which reinfections account for 18% of infections. The total number of infections since the beginning of the pandemic amounts to 4,210,771 of which 51.7% are women.
