A total of 33,590 new cases were recorded in the last week, 129 deaths – 101 were intubated
Found in Greece the Centaur subvariant of the coronavirus, according to the epidemiological report published by EODY.
It was specifically identified in one of the examined samples and identified as subvariant of BA.2 (BA.2.75.2)
This is a mutant strain that has so far been identified in India, Chile, England, Singapore, Spain and Germany, among others.
According to reports EODY executives are reassuring. They don’t expect an outbreak due to the Centaur on the one hand because there are high rates of immunity in the population and on the other hand because where micron 5 has prevailed the Centaur does not spread.
A total of 33,590 new cases were registered in our country in the last week. The new deaths reached 129, while 101 patients are intubated.
