Themistocleous: More than 29,000 children 5-11 years old have made vaccination appointments – Percentages by age group

We have exceeded 15,800,000 vaccinations, as announced today by the Secretary General of Primary Health Care Marios Themistokleous.

Mr Themistocleous said more than 7.2 million had received at least one dose of the vaccine, representing 69.1% of the general population, while more than 6.7 million had been fully vaccinated, equivalent to 64.7%. % of the general population.

Vaccination rates per age group with first dose, including scheduled appointments:

  • 85+ — 83%
  • 80-84 — 80%
  • 75-79 — 91,7%
  • 70-74 — 86%
  • 65-69 — 89,4%
  • 60-64 — 86,6%
  • 55-59 — 84%
  • 50-54 — 81,3%
  • 45-49 — 79,6%
  • 40-44 — 76,7%
  • 35-39 — 71,4%
  • 30-34 — 73,2%
  • 25-29 — 73,5%
  • 18-24 — 70,9%
  • 15-17 — 51%
  • 12-14 — 35,3%

As for the children and the platform, which opened last week, he said more than 29,000 children aged 5-11 have made an appointment for a vaccine. The first vaccination will take place on Wednesday, December 15.

For those over 60, who had the lowest vaccination rate, after the announcement of the obligation, 100,500 first dose appointments were scheduled, which corresponds to 86.4%.

Finally, regarding the reminder installment, Mr. Themistokleous stated that over 2 million have made the third installment, with those over 60 reaching 85% and those under 60 at 53.6%.

Also, for the appointments, he pointed out that priority is given to those over 60 who close the 7-month period and their certificate is about to expire.
