Crowds of people visited the Rural Clinic in Rovies and the Mantoudi Health Center on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 December 2021 for examinations by the doctors of the Metropolitan Hospital and Metropolitan General of HHG. The team of doctors consisted of the doctors of the Metropolitan Hospital Mr. Diamanti Thomas Surgeon, Evangelos Nikolopoulos Vascular surgeon, George Rontogianni Orthopedic Surgeon, Kingdom of Triga Breast Surgeon, and from the Metropolitan General Mr. Konstantinos Kontos, Cardiologist.
In an area that experienced very unpleasant times during the summer, the medical needs of the residents were increased and the local community embraced the Metropolitan mission. Doctors performed orthopedic, mammological, cardiological and angiological examinations with vascular triplex, in over 100 people while raising their awareness on prevention issues and answering all their questions.
The Metropolitan started the “Prevention” program five years ago in order to meet the needs of the inhabitants of areas far from the big urban centers. To date, he has visited many parts of Greece, including Mountainous Corinth, Fthiotida, mountainous Arcadia, Tzia, Skyros and others. examining hundreds of residents who have difficulty accessing medical services on a non-profit basis.
