Brazil recorded 153 deaths from Covid and 54,731 cases of the disease this Tuesday (13). With that, the country reaches 691,174 lives lost and 35,714,251 infected since the beginning of the pandemic.

The moving average of deaths is 101 per day, up 34% compared to the data from 14 days ago. The moving average of cases is 33,143 per day, up 26% over the same period.

The data for the country, collected until 8 pm, are the result of a collaboration between SheetUOL, O Estado de S. Paulo, Extra, O Globo and G1 to gather and disseminate numbers related to the coronavirus pandemic.

Acre, Amapá and Santa Catarina did not register deaths. For the second consecutive day, data collection from Rio de Janeiro was not possible due to server problems, according to the press office of the State Health Secretariat.

Amapá and Paraná did not update vaccine data. Tocantins did not update the bulletin.

The information is collected daily by the consortium of press vehicles with the state Health Secretariats.

In all, 182,355,628 people received at least the first dose of a Covid vaccine in Brazil.
Added to the single doses of Janssen’s vaccine, there are 172,305,280 people with both doses or one dose of Janssen’s vaccine.

Thus, the country already has 84.88% of the population with the 1st dose and 80.21% of Brazilians with two doses or one dose of Janssen’s vaccine.

So far, 106,831,899 people have already taken the third dose, and 38,341,009, the fourth.

The initiative by the consortium of press vehicles occurred in response to the actions of the Jair Bolsonaro (PL) government, which threatened to withhold data, delayed bulletins about the disease and removed information from the air, with the interruption of the disclosure of total cases and deaths.
