The A΄ Gynecological Clinic of the Metropolitan General, organizes the 1st pan-European workshop in robotic and laparoscopic gynecological surgery using Gynesim® Real Tissue Model pelvic models.
The two-day event will take place on February 18 and 19, 2023 at the premises of the ISLE Academy (Kifisias Avenue 119, Maroussi 151 24).
The workshop is organized by Dr. Nikolaos PleurisObstetrician-Gynecologist, Director of the 1st Gynecological Clinic-Department of Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery of Metropolitan General with the ISLE Academy Educational Center.
During the workshop, gynecologists will be trained in advanced robotic and minimally invasive gynecological surgery techniques with biological tissue simulation models, an extremely realistic practice in high precision surgical simulation.
The participants will perform operations (hysterectomy, fibromyomectomy, ovary removal, salpingectomy, peritoneal biopsies) as well as minimally invasive surgery exercises using two robotic systems and laparoscopic workstations.
Also, they will rotate to all workstations during the workshop in order to complete all exercises and procedures according to their level of expertise.
As part of the comprehensive training, there will also be the opportunity to monitor gynecological robotic operations in the operating rooms of Metropolitan General.
The workshop is accredited by the Panhellenic Medical Association and Continuing Medical Education Credits (CME Credits) are provided. There is a possibility of participation of qualified and qualified doctors.
