The state recorded, on Thursday, 124 deaths by Covid, after a sequence of five days with daily numbers below one hundred.
The capital of São Paulo, on Wednesday, counted two deaths, a number similar to that of Tuesday (2). The city government even reported that there had been only one death from the disease on Monday (1), but the city’s Health Department updated it for five.
On holidays and weekends, notifications are often repressed, which explains the revision of the numbers of cases and deaths across the country.
