The alarm bell is rung by the commander of the “Evangelismos” hospital Anastasios Grigoropoulos, who revealed speaking at kathimerini.gr that 92 health workers working in the hospital have been found to be positive for the coronavirus.
As he points out, the big problem is the possibility of increasing this percentage, which will cause even greater difficulties in the operation of the hospital.
At the same time, with a decision of the administration, the visits to the hospital were forbidden, while the medical visitors are not allowed to enter either.
The health workers who were found positive were quarantined and -as it is emphasized- they have been stuck outside the hospital, due to the large dispersion in the community.
In addition, according to the hospital administrator, there is a great deal of positivity among patients, which means that while they are admitted as negative by PCR test, during their presence in “Evangelismos” a large percentage of coronavirus sticks.
According to Mr. Grigoropoulos, it remains a big question mark about what will happen if the percentage of health patients who are ill increases, as in the case of Britain.
