A reduced number of coronavirus cases but a record number of admissions to hospitals in the territory, was announced today by EODY as in the last 24 hours 654 admissions were made, recording an increase of 31.59% compared to the previous 24 hours, which became 497.
It is recalled that today 24,246 new cases of coronavirus were announced, 77 deaths and 670 intubated.
A total of 21,637 deaths have been recorded since the start of the pandemic.
At the same time, 9,347 cases were detected in Attica, 2,392 in Thessaloniki.
350,180 tests were performed with the positivity being 6.92.
The total number of patients with coronary artery aged 4-18 years is 43,386, according to the aggregate data of EODY for the week 3 to 9 January.
It accounts for 18% of all cases, up from 12% last week.
In all tests, the positivity rate was 5.67%. The number of new patients admitted was 3,988, while the total number of discharges due to healing was 2,467. The ratio of admission of new patients to discharge due to cure was 1.62.
It is noted that the delivery of the roadmaps to the private doctors of Northern Greece, with specialization, pulmonology, pathology and general medicine, started today, as foreseen by the relevant Government Gazette, are required to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
The commander of the 3rd RAE, Panagiotis Bogiatzidis stated to APE-MPE that the delivery of the worksheets is progressing normally and from tomorrow the doctors will show up to work in the hospitals.
For this specific health district, which includes 16 hospitals in Central-Western Macedonia, the number of doctors who are called to serve is more than 90.
