Opinion – Cannabis Inc.: Alesp holds the first Cannabis hearing of 2022

This Monday (8) the first meeting of the year of the Parliamentary Front in Defense of cannabis Medicinal and Industrial Hemp at Alesp (Legislative Assembly of São Paulo). The public hearing brings together patients with long experience in the treatment of various diseases, such as chronic pain, rheumatoid arthritis and Down Syndrome, ADD (Attention Hyperactivity Disorder) and ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder).

The work of the Parliamentary Front began in October, under the coordination of deputy Sérgio Victor.

There are four guests in total:

• Psychologist Márcia Guerra, an activist with Associação Cultive – founded by Maria Aparecida Carvalho, whose objective is to teach cultivating cannabis medicinal plant and make the oil from the plant.
• Theologian and sociologist Bruno Taioli Júnior, from the Humanitas360 Institute, is pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Alphaville and prison chaplain.
• The administrator Patrícia Boscatto, mother of Isabela, 13 years old, who has Down Syndrome.
• Economist Ana Cristina Neves, who has endometriosis and fibromyalgia.
