Specifically, it was assessed by EcoVadis in four critical sections, environment, labor practices, good business practices and sustainable procurement, and achieved high scores for implementing integrated and responsible practices.

For the year 2022, the Group with improved rates achieved a higher score than in previous years and was ranked in the top 80% of companieswhile found in 8% of the world’s leading companies in the provision of health services. The improvement in performance in the sector was also significant, as well the Group was placed in the top 2% of the world’s top companies in the health sector in the environment sectionhighlighting its commitment to climate change and maintaining a positive environmental footprint.

The continued recognition by EcoVadis and the excellent results prove that the Hellenic Healthcare Group is a model for the business community of Greece, as it does not treat sustainable development as a simple goal, but as an essential part of its philosophy and character, contributing in practice to the sustainable development of the country.

At the same time, it highlights the Group’s continuous commitment to always be next to the citizens, providing innovative medical health services of high standards, using sophisticated methods of diagnosis and treatment, maintaining a safe environment for staff and patients based on international standards, as well as integrating environmental sustainable practices in its operations.
