The Pathology Department of the Metropolitan General Hospital is a dynamic department with multidimensional activity, one of the most critical in the Clinic as it manages a large volume of cases annually. It covers a wide range of medical services in the field of internal medicine (Internal Medicine), in the context of which services are provided for the prevention, diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases in adults.

In the Department, all diseases of internal pathology, infectious diseases and metabolic disorders are treated, with the help of the modern infrastructure and the state-of-the-art medical-technological equipment available at Metropolitan General.

It is staffed by highly trained physicians with long-term hospital experience who are able to manage complex and multifactorial cases at the level of acute and chronic conditions. The Pathology Department consists of Pathology Clinics, Diabetes Clinic, Infectious Disease Clinic and Pathology Outpatient Clinic.
The scientific work of the Department is supported by the Diagnostic and Imaging Laboratories of Metropolitan General, the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Emergency Department of the Clinic.
