The EOF announces that according to the notification of the Dutch authorities and through the system of administrative assistance and cooperation (AAC), following laboratory tests, the active pharmaceutical substances sildenafil, tadalafil and flibanserin, which are not listed on the package, were detected in honey products. They are marketed with medicinal claims to enhance libido.
These products, which are presented as food, endanger public health, since they contain pharmaceutical active substances that are not prescribed.
