The owners of cars and motorcycles will have the opportunity to receive the license plates of their vehicles, which were removed by the Municipal Police of Athens from tomorrow Holy Tuesday, April 30, 2024in order to facilitate their movements in view of the Easter celebration.
The return of the signs will be done after the payment of the corresponding fine and with the presentation of the documents necessary to receive the supporting documents (driver’s license, insurance policy, police ID or deemed authorization in the event that the driver himself will not receive them), from the offices of the Municipal Police of the Municipality of Athens (14 Konstantinou St. , 1st floor), from 09.00 to 15.00.
It is noted that license plates and driving licenses that have been taken away by the Municipal Police for anti-social parking violations (parking on disabled ramps, P-71, P-72) will not be returned, as well as in cases for which relevant decisions have been issued by courts authorities.
