The ISA sent a letter to the administrator of EOPYY, Mrs. Th. Karpodini, with which she demands the immediate posting of the clawback notes for the year 2023, in order for the doctors to be able to submit their tax returns.

“The ISA for yet another year has received protests from hundreds of doctors, both in Athens and in the rest of Greece, contracted with EOPYY, for the non-posting of clawback notes for the year 2023. Especially for this year, the delay is long if we consider that we are in the first week of July, just twenty days before the end of the income tax declarations and there is still not even information from the competent services of the EOPYY regarding the final amounts of the clawback year 2023“, he states in his letter ISA.

“The competent bodies of the Greek government must finally understand that it is not enough that the contracted, with EOPYY, PPHI bodies have been led to financial strangulation by the “temporary” clawback measure (since 2011) they are forced to submit their tax returns at the last minute and be taxed for non-existent and uncollected income.

Our Association defending the interests of our medical members requires the immediate posting of the claw back notes for the year 2023 in order to inform the doctors and further their tax experts so that the income tax returns of the relevant year can be submitted in a timely and valid manner.
