The goal of the Integrated Cancer Center is to provide specialized, multidisciplinary and personalized care to cancer patients, with an emphasis on quality of services and access to innovative treatments. The center will offer comprehensive services including prevention, diagnosis, treatment and support services for patients and their families.
The Deputy Minister of Health, Mr. Marios Themistokleous, said in a statement:
“The creation of the first Integrated Cancer Center at the “Agios Savvas” hospital marks a new era in the care of cancer patients in Greece. Care will now be more patient-centred, ensuring access to modern treatments and the support both patients and their families need. It is a practical proof of our commitment to improve the quality of life of oncology patients in our country».

In addition, teams of specialist doctors from various disciplines will work together to create individualized treatment plans, while survivorship and support services, which are crucial to cancer treatment, will be supported.
