What precautions to take with the release of masks outdoors; listen to podcast

by

The governor of São Paulo, João Doria (PSDB), announced this Wednesday (9) that the use of protective masks is no longer mandatory in open environments throughout the state. You will still need to use the item indoors, such as public transport.

The toucan’s decision follows the releases in other cities and states in the country. The City Hall of Rio de Janeiro went further and on Monday (7) removed the mandatory use, including indoors.

In this changing scenario, it is not always clear what is safe and what kind of precautions still need to be taken.

In this Thursday’s episode (10), Café da Manhã talks to the researcher at the University of Vermont and member of the Covid-19 BR Vitor Mori Observatory, who analyzes the decision of states and municipalities to release the use of mask and clarifies doubts about the theme.
