In the medium term and in the long run, citizens will notice a significant improvement in quality of care. New national clinical protocols will be implemented to enhance consistency in care, while health professionals will receive intensive training in quality and safety of patients. At the same time, the regional health management structures will be strengthened with the aim of better coordination. “
