The ISA president spoke about the impact of the clawback on the sustainability of the laboratories, stressing that this measure acts as an unjust and unbearable mechanism, leading hundreds of laboratories to the brink of disaster.

“The ISA, who has been fighting in recent years, to protect laboratories and public health after appealing to the CoE, has decided to appeal to European courts in order to denounce the unfair measure of clawback, which contradicts the principles of fair compensation and sustainable operation of health units. We are determined to exhaust all means to ensure the survival of the medical world and the protection of public health ‘,’ The president of ISA stressed.

Scientists and professionals in the industry have highlighted the important problems and challenges faced by biopathologists in practicing their work and referred to the “difficult position of biopathologists, who are fighting daily to maintain the viability of their laboratories”.
