In the context of the Corporate Social Responsibility actions of the “Prevention” program, the Metropolitan Hospitala member of the Hellenic Healthcare Group, in collaboration with the local government and under the auspices of the Fokida Medical Association, visited the prefecture for free preventive examinations in the local population.
Specifically, on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3, 2022, a team of doctors was found at the Agricultural Clinic of Gravia and Delphi, examining residents of the area on a non-profit basis, observing all the prescribed security measures against COVID-19.
The medical team consisted of the doctors of Metropolitan Hospital Mr. Dimitrios Dovris Orthopedic Surgeon, Evangelos Nikolopoulos Vascular Surgeon, Ioannis Palio Cardiologist, Vassilios Triga Breast Surgeon and the nurse Vana Daviou.
The action was widely accepted by the local population as a total of about 200 visits were made to the doctors, who performed a triplex of blood vessels, cardiogram, orthopedic and mammological examination.
The great response from the residents once again confirmed the increased medical needs of the local community in places with difficult access to health services.
From 2016 until today the Metropolitan “Prevention” program has visited villages of Evia, Tzia, Skyros, mountainous Corinth, Fthiotida, Konitsa, mountainous Arcadia and other parts of Greece, having examined hundreds of residents with its flag prevention!
