For the optimal management of each patient with Long COVID, the Hospital Metropolitan General created the specialized “Long (CO) Clinic”, which offers comprehensive care to people who present with complications / symptoms that persist or appear 4 weeks after COVID-19.
The program includes evaluation by a specialized team of physicians consisting of a Pathologist-Infectious Diseases Specialist, assessment of respiratory and cardiac function by a pulmonologist and cardiologist, as well as a series of diagnostic tests depending on the severity and type of symptoms.
After the completion of the clinical laboratory examination, the diagnosis of the underlying medical problem related to the previous infection and the corresponding therapeutic intervention follows.

The program is aimed at patients with COVID-19 and:
