The Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday (16) that the federal government will release booster doses against Covid-19 for the entire adult population of the country. Previously, this additional application was made only in people over 60 years of age or in risk groups.
The decision was not expected, as the Ministry of Health did not consult Anvisa — the agency needs to evaluate the application. Despite this, some municipalities have already started to announce that they will apply the booster dose to all people aged 18 or over who completed the vaccination schedule 5 months ago.
