The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease (individuals) recorded in the last 24 hours were 4,175. The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,277,557 (daily change + 0.1%), of which 48.9% are men.

The number of possible new re-infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 149 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 121,135 (3.6% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 28, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 28,867 deaths have been recorded. 95.5% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 277 (67.1% men). Their median age is 71 years. 93.1% have an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 150 (54.15%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 127 (45.85%) are fully vaccinated.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,591 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

The admission of new COVID-19 patients to the hospitals of the territory is 197 (daily change + 3.68%). The average seven-day admission is 201 patients. The median age of cases is 36 years (range 0.2 to 112 years), while the median age of death is 79 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).

The seven-day average is 151,490 sample checks.

Mass Sampling EODY: On April 22, 2022, 70 sampling actions were carried out by the Mobile Health Teams
(KOMY) of EODY, in which 7,261 Rapid Ag tests were performed and 963 positive (13.26%) were found.
