The data presented relate to cases from the epidemiological surveillance of the disease by the new coronavirus (COVID-19), based on the data reported to EODY and recorded until April 30, 2022 (time 09:00).

The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,323,922 (daily change + 0.2%), of which 48.9% are men. The number of possible new re-infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 221 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 122,434 (3.6% of the total number of positive results).
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 35, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 29,153 deaths have been recorded. 2 95.5% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
The number of patients treated by intubation is 239 (64.9% men). Their median age is 71 years. 93.3% have underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 122 (51.05%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 117 (48.95%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,609 patients have been discharged from the ICU. The admissions of 3 new COVID-19 patients in the hospitals of the territory are 205 (daily change + 13.89%).
